Backups

Backups allow website owners to create backups for the different sections of their site. Through the Backups interface a website owner can download:

  • Partial downloads:

The Backup interface also allows the website owner restore backups to the server incase of a failure or issue with the server or site.

The Backup Wizard creates a simple and step by step method for website owners to create and restore backups of their website.

This interface helps website owners create all the backups that are available to them through the backup interface.

Web Disk is a great tool to allow website owners interact with the files and folders on their system as if it were a locally mounted hard drive. FTP Accounts

The FTP Accounts tool in cPanel allows website owner to control who has access to upload, download, and edit files and folders through File Transmission Protocol (FTP). FTP accounts can be created through a simple form and restrictions such as directory size can be levied on the FTP accounts. Through this interface, website owners can also change passwords, change quotas, delete accounts, and even download configuration files for popular FTP clients.
