Our timeline has only a few more releases before support for x3 is dropped, so it&#8217;s time to start thinking about switching over to Paper Lantern permanently.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Upgrade to Paper Lantern\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nTo upgrade your customers to Paper Lantern, navigate to WHM&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Modify\/Upgrade Multiple Accounts<\/em>\u00a0interface\u00a0(<em>Home &gt;&gt; Multi Account Functions &gt;&gt; Modify\/Upgrade Multiple\u00a0Accounts<\/em>). Choose <em>Paper Lantern<\/em> from the <em>Theme<\/em> menu and select the account that you wish to upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>If you love it, <a href=\"http:\/\/go.cpanel.net\/userexpforum\">tell us<\/a>! If you hate it, we want to hear about that too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/upgrade_pl.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-25722\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/upgrade_pl-800x534.png\" alt=\"upgrade_pl\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>x3mail theme caveats\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nIf some of your customers are exclusively using the x3mail theme and you upgrade all of your customers to Paper Lantern, those customers that were limited to the x3mail theme will have access to more features on the cPanel dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn more about Paper Lantern<\/strong><br \/>\nCustomizing the cPanel dashboard is so much easier with Paper Lantern.
