With the addition of cPanel to the WebPros family of companies, the natural progression for our annual conference was a combined conference. Partnering with the communities of Plesk, WHMCS, and SolusVM will increase the size and impact that an annual hosting conference has.<br><br>Enter <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webprossummit.com?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=wp2019announce\">WebPros Summit 2019<\/a><\/strong>. With the power of the WebPros umbrella, we have added an exceptional speaker field, a diverse group of sponsors and exhibitors, Certification Day (more on that later!), and the best networking events in the industry. The very first WebPros Summit is taking place in the historic southern beacon city: Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why You Shouldn&#8217;t Miss WebPros Summit 2019<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time, we&#8217;re dedicating a section of the exhibitor floor for some heavy hitters in the Open Source world. We are bringing in representatives from The Apache Foundation, CentOS, Dovecot, Exim, and MySQL.&nbsp;Not only will these groups be represented on the exhibition floor, but they will also be delivering talks! Many of you were looking for a chance to interact with the developers of these prevalent open-source software projects, so bringing them to WebPros Summit 2019 was essential to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/exhibit_1_30-2.jpg\" alt=\"cPanel Conference 2018 exhibition hall\" class=\"wp-image-53307\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re providing attendees the opportunity to receive certifications from a variety of companies in the hosting industry. The opening Monday of the Summit will include a day-long certification seminar from companies such as JetBackup, Imunify, LiteSpeed, Plesk, and cPanel! If you are a current cPanel Partner and want to gain <a href=\"https:\/\/university.cpanel.net\/certified-partner\">cPanel Certified Partner<\/a> status, the Monday certification event is where you want to be.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/certification_50-1.jpg\" alt=\"cPanel conference 2017\" class=\"wp-image-53295\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Attendees that want to take advantage of the certification opportunity can indicate so as they register for the Summit. Any of the seminars that take place on Monday will be tested at the end of the class, creating the most natural path to certification for attendees. For those not able to attend, we will be including these exams for the entire industry after completion of the Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/party_30.jpg\" alt=\"cPanel Conference 2018\" class=\"wp-image-53299\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The modus operandi of conferences has always been &#8220;work hard, play hard.&#8221; WebPros Summit is no exception. We kick off the festivities with some old fashioned Southern Hospitality at The Painted Duck networking event on Monday night (hosted by Sectigo). Tuesday night is the Diversity in Tech Happy Hour event and the signature Summit party at the Georgia Freight Depot.&nbsp;For the avid gamer, the Wednesday Gaming Extravaganza featuring giant board games, video games, and virtual reality.
