The complications involved in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/getting-started-with-cpanel-whm-on-microsoft-azure\/\">manual cPanel install<\/a>&nbsp;have been removed and the overall process greatly simplified; deploying cPanel &amp; WHM on Microsoft Azure has never been easier!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft Azure offers cloud services to help your business or organization get on the cloud quickly with the freedom to build, manage, and deploy applications with your favorite tools such as cPanel &amp; WHM.&nbsp;In this article, we will showcase cPanel &amp; WHM\u2019s streamlined setup on Microsoft Azure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"BlogOutline:AzureLaunch-Checklist:\"><strong>Checklist<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get started with cPanel on Microsoft Azure, we need to do a simple pre-flight check:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Microsoft Azure Account:&nbsp;<\/strong>Create or login to<a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/\">&nbsp;Microsoft Azure<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>cPanel License:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;cPanel on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/\">&nbsp;Microsoft Azure<\/a>&nbsp;comes with a free 15-day trial license, but you will need to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cpanel.net\/pricing\/\">connect an active license<\/a>&nbsp;once the trial ends.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"BlogOutline:AzureLaunch-GettingStartedwithMicrosoftAzureandcPanel:\"><strong>Getting Started with Microsoft Azure and cPanel:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you will need to sign in to your account or set up a free account on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/\">Microsoft Azure<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57253\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have set up your account, visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/azuremarketplace.microsoft.com\/en-us\/marketplace\/apps\/cpanel.cpanel?tab=Overview\">Microsoft Azure Marketplace cPanel &amp; WHM App listing<\/a>&nbsp;and click the <strong>GET NOW<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57257\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, select the <strong>CONTINUE<\/strong> button to create the cPanel &amp; WHM Application in Azure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57261\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"BlogOutline:AzureLaunch-CreatingaVirtualMachine.1\"><strong>Creating an Azure Virtual Machine<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have signed up and started creating the cPanel Application, you will need to configure the Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine. Azure has Basic, Disk (Storage), Networking, Management, Advanced, and Tag options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57265\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With your Virtual Machine now configured, select the <strong>Review &amp; Create<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_4-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57269\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After reviewing your configuration options, select the <strong>Review &amp; Create<\/strong> Button at the bottom of the page. You will then be prompted with a Pop-up to generate a new key pair. &nbsp;Select <strong>Download private key and create resource.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57273\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Virtual Machine installs, make sure to place the downloaded private key in a safe and secure place as you will not be able to download it again. Depending on how you have configured your Virtual Machine, it could take a few minutes to finish the deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cpanel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/az_6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57277\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When the deployment is complete, Azure has several recommended next steps.
