This post summarizes these changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Privacy Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Twice each year, we review our Privacy Policy.&nbsp; In the most recent review, we made the following changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We added the WHMCS Marketplace to the cPanel privacy policy.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We clarified ownership of certain data in the WHMCS Marketplace between cPanel and WHMCS Limited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We made minor updates as required by the U.S. Department of Commerce to support participation in the US \/ EU \/ Swiss Data Privacy Framework as well as the US \/ UK Data Bridge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We clarified our use of third-party surveying services: Survey Monkey \/ Alchemer, Retently and Typeform. We also added information about Retently\u2019s cookie to Schedule 3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We corrected typographic errors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Changes to our Privacy Policy are effective as set out in the Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pricing and Term Agreement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cPanel has introduced an Extended Lifecycle Support service for its customers.\u00a0 The Pricing and Term Agreement was amended to support this introduction.\u00a0 The following changes were made:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">The description of the items that are covered by the Pricing and Term Agreement was broadened to use the term \u201cProducts\u201d rather than \u201cSoftware.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">Terms necessary to support the provision of products and services, in addition to software, were modified throughout the document.&nbsp; For example the term \u201clicense\u201d is not used when referring to ELS Support.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ELS Support was added as a product.&nbsp; Customers were provided with a method of rejecting ELS Support, and the fact that ELS Support may be provided by a third party was noted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changes were made to support the modification of cPanel\u2019s corporate name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paragraphs in the Pricing and Term Agreement that that duplicated those in other agreements were removed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These changes are effective thirty days from the date of our email announcing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical Support Agreement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>cPanel has introduced an Extended Lifecycle Support service for its customers.\u00a0 The Technical Support Agreement was amended to support this introduction.\u00a0 The following changes were made:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">\u201cExtended Support\u201d or \u201cELS Support\u201d were defined.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The terms of automatic enrollment in ELS Support were set out in paragraph 2.12.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changes were made to support the modification of cPanel\u2019s corporate name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We recently released updated versions of Privacy Policy, Pricing and Term Agreement and Technical Support Agreement.
