These enhancements will benefit both\u00a0server administrators and website owners with quicker response time\u00a0and security measures for Java applications. <!--more-->\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tomcat 7 has many updates including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Several Patches from Apache for Tomcat 7<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tomcat.apache.org\/security-7.html\">Tomcat 7 Patches<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Simplified Library Structure<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Support for Java 6 and 7<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; JSP 2.2<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; JSP 2.2 Expression Language Specifications<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Servlet 3.0 (Supports Asynchronous Servlets)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Protection against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CRFS) Attacks<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Simplified XML and Cookie Validation<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re hoping to gather your thoughts, concerns, questions, comments, hopes and dreams, and while we\u2019re better equipped to answer your EasyApache and Tomcat questions and concerns, we\u2019ll try our best for all the rest.<\/p>\n<p>We understand that some Tomcat 5.5 installations have evolved into unique setups in EasyApache.
