A plugin may be as simple as a link in the interface to a resource on another server or as complex as a collection of code that extends cPanel\u2019s APIs along with standalone applications that run in a cPanel\/WHM execution environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>cPanel Integration<\/strong><br \/>\ncPanel\u2019s documentation is a great place to begin exploring integration with cPanel. The <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.cpanel.net\/twiki\/bin\/view\/AllDocumentation\/AutomationIntegration\/WritingcPanelPlugins\">Creating a cPanel Plugin document<\/a> will have you well on your way towards integration nirvana.\u00a0I also recommend that everyone interested in integrating with cPanel take a look at the cPanel Install File Generator. This is a web application that allows you to answer a few questions and generate a cpanelplugin file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHM Integration<\/strong><br \/>\nTo integrate with WHM, you will have to write a CGI plugin script that contains a few special comments that control how the plugin is displayed in the WHM interface.\u00a0 With this CGI application, you can redirect users to an external source or an internal source written in PHP.\u00a0 For more information about integrating with WHM, you can read our <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.cpanel.net\/twiki\/bin\/view\/AllDocumentation\/AutomationIntegration\/CreatingWhmPlugins\">Creating a WHM Plugin document<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Integration Support<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can receive support for an integration issue in a number of ways.\u00a0 To simply request information, you can visit our <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.cpanel.net\/cpanel-developers.html\">developer discussion forums<\/a>.
