cPanel Direct Customer Licensing: 2025 Pricing FAQs

Pricing questions

We are adjusting the prices of all cPanel licenses sold to our Partners, Distributors, and Store Customers. We want to ensure that we can continue to invest heavily in product development and grow our partner ecosystem. Furthermore, we plan to launch even more new solutions to support our journey to becoming the leader in server, web infrastructure, and WordPress automation solutions.

New pricing will go into effect for all existing cPanel accounts, subscriptions, and services that begin on January 1st, 2025, and new orders that begin on December 16th, 2024.

We may make further pricing adjustments to continue delivering value and an exceptional product to our customers in the future. Like other companies, we periodically assess the impact of our pricing to ensure there is a reasonable alignment with the needs of our customers and partners and our own cost of doing business.

We are so glad you asked! This year, we launched our new features.cpanel.net site which is kept up to date with our planned roadmap and what we release throughout the year. Want to know what we have coming up for cPanel & WHM? Want to tell us what you want next? Our roadmap is publicly accessible so you can see what we have planned, vote for what you need, and get updates on what’s in development.

A cPanel Account, often called a cPanel user, is an Account created by the root administrator or reseller, who logs into the cPanel interface to manage their website.

Customers can still host more than one hundred cPanel Accounts on their servers. Bulk Account pricing starts at the 101st cPanel Account at the price of forty-five cents per additional cPanel Account.

WHM allows for limiting the number of accounts a reseller may create from the reseller center interface.

If you are selling servers or cloud instances, consider becoming a Partner for access to additional Fixed Package options.

Account usage is reported when the server updates its license. License check-ins typically occur every 8-48 hours, depending on the version of cPanel. For more information on how to force a license check-in, please see: How to Fix License File Errors

There are multiple ways to see the number of users on your server and interact with those accounts. To see the total number of accounts, use the WHMAPI call: https://go.cpanel.net/getcurrentusers
