Today is the first day of the 2017 cPanel Conference, and I’m filled with excitement. The plans have all been laid for us to have the best conference we’ve ever had. Let’s talk about some of the stuff I’m most excited for. I mentioned last month some of the talks I was most excited about, and we’ve heard from a few of speakers about their talks since then as well. Let’s talk about some of the other highlights of the conference this week.
The Escape Room
At cPanel we’re big in team building, and one of the things our teams have liked best has been escape rooms. We decided we needed one at this year’s conference!
Teams of 3 – 4 people can sign up to solve the puzzles and convince SpamAssassin that you are legitimate mail to be sent before the SpamAssassin takes your hands! Successful teams earn official cPanel Escape Room sticker for yourself. Registered attendees got a link to the the signup form this morning. If you didn’t get the email, and want to sign up, find one of us in the orange conference STAFF shirts and we’ll get you signed up.
The cPUniversity Certifications
I know Mary gave us a great post on it already, but if you’re at the cPanel Conference it’s well worth your while to take an hour out to get certified. The University has evolved so much in the last few years, and now includes a ton of training on top of a slew of worthwhile certifications. If you’re still unsure, stop by Ferncliff II on the third floor and talk to our wonderful trainers that will be present.
